We are No More

I don’t want to let you go
But I think I have to
Time goes on, so I shall too
We shouldn’t keep hold other back

Let’s wait for the morning sun to shine
Maybe it’ll give us a sign
As to whether or not we’re meant to be

Silky socks 
And fluttering hearts
Beats like a butterfly,

That one gets cut in half
Two sullen pieces

He stands there, watching her walk away from him. She doesn’t see as a tear escapes from his eye, letting the wind carry it off with their love. He regrets all the names he called her, all the bruises he gave her. It took him this day, to realize that she was the best thing to ever happen in his life.
